  • Police requesting public’s assistance in identifying female suspects in theft

    On April 25, 2019 at approximately 10:34 p.m. the two female suspects were captured on security video stealing a metal mailbox from a residence located at 45 Johnson Street in downtown Kingston.

    Police would like to take the opportunity to thank the public after missing female Hope Dorion was located.

  • Male arrested for shoplifting and drug possession

    On March 19, 2019 at approximately 1:37 p.m. the male accused was observed by a loss prevention officer acting suspiciously inside a store in Kingston’s west end. The accused was observed concealing merchandise in his coat before making his way to the front of the store.

  • Local man charged with multiple domestic related assaults

    On February 25, 2019 at approximately 11:20 a.m. police became aware of domestic related assaults that had occurred between the male accused and female victim. The accused and victim had been married for 30 years. Police learned that the accused had previously struck the victim in the face resulting in injuries to her nose.

  • Youth arrested for resisting arrest and assaulting police

    On February 22, 2019 at approximately 10:40 p.m. the male accused engaged his father in a fight at an address in the east end of Kingston. Police responded to the disturbance and upon arrival located the accused in the basement of the residence being held down on the floor by his parents.

  • Male arrested for attempted murder in relation to Friday night stabbing

    On February 22, 2019 the male victim attended inside a fast food restaurant located on Division Street near Highway 401. Shortly after the victim was approached by the male accused who attempted to speak with him however was incoherent.

  • Police asking for public’s assistance to identify thief

    On January 26, 2109 police received a report regarding theft from a store on Gardiners Road. The complainant reported that on November 26, 2018 at approximately 1:15 p.m. an unknown suspect stole over $400 in cash from an unattended till.

    On February 7, 2019 the Kingston Police Street Crime Unit obtained a search warrant for an apartment on Leroy Grant Drive, in relation to drug trafficking.

  • Kingston Police identify and arrest a fourth suspect in Fraser St shooting

    Only nine days after masked suspects fired shots through windows of a Fraser Street apartment, detectives with the Kingston Police major crime have identified and arrested a fourth man. He was one of the masked suspects caught on security video.
