Halloween Safety for Kids

The Kingston Police have a few safety tips for all the little ghosts and goblins this Halloween night.

1      Always trick or treat with a parent or friend.

2     Carry a flash light with new batteries.

3     Wear a bright colored reflective costume.

4     Watch out for cars and trucks.

5     Stay on the sidewalk and cross at the corners.

6     Use make up instead of a rubber or plastic mask.

7     Never go inside a stranger’s house.

8     Let parents check all candy before eating it.

9     Never talk to strangers.

10   Don’t take shortcuts through parks or laneways.

If we follow these simple tips, everyone will have a safe and happy Halloween.
